Opportunity is a reflection of the groups doubts and negative self-thoughts during the early stages of Ospreys’ foundation.
As opportunities arose, the band commonly found themselves unmotivated and in a state of hopelessness due to disbelief regarding their future successes.
This concept also applies to a large sector of humanity in which insecurities often prevent people from pursuing their goals and dreams.
Such theme is heavily conveyed in the line “take what we’re given on a silver spoon”, meaning to take hold of each and every opportunity that they’re lucky enough to be presented with, with gratitude.
